We really do need people to buy the magazine: it helps fund our research, & the more we sell the more frequently we can appear. There is also the philosophical aspect: the printed word goes in more, and stays in the mind longer, than things on a screen.

Feel free to print the page and highlight what you want: and don’t be shy returning to us, experience shows people often buy one issue, a few weeks later another, and shortly after absolutely everything! As you will hopefully find, the magazine is addictive (in a nice way!). If you want any variation of items not shown, email us at nfbmagazine@yahoo.co.uk. Happy to combine postage on items. As a rule, because of postal costs, we send things Royal Mail second class & overseas international standard. If you want something else eg tracked/signed for/1st Class, then email us and we will work something out. Once a total has been agreed, we are happy to then email you a Pay-Pal invoice, though we prefer bank transfer or cheque.
Some (many!) of the prices below are high: a consequence of Royal Mail ratcheting up postal prices twice a year now, way above inflation. Is the intent to self-destruct? Quite possibly…
For those who definitely don’t want to buy online (which we guess is why you’re on this page!) there are two alternatives:
A) By Bank transfer
After adding up what everything costs, do three things (in sequence)
1) Contact us at nfbmagazine@yahoo.co.uk, if you are not buying a pre-priced bundle (eg all back issues/NFB 12 and Soho Pamphlet) telling us exactly what you want and where you are based (UK/EU/Rest of World), We then might, probably will, be able to reduce the overall cost of combining items. Obviously if it is a single item you want then prices are exactly as below. Once you have heard from us (if applicable)
2) Transfer funds by BACS to Lawrence O’Hara account (Lloyds) Sort Code 30-98-71 Account Number 00618116
3) Immediately contact us at nfbmagazine@yahoo.co.uk informing us of exactly what you have paid for and the name/address publications are to be sent to once we have checked funds have been paid in. We quite like BACS/and even cheques/postal orders (yes them!)as it avoids us incurring extra charges! Every little helps…..

B) By post
Two possible ways of doing this. These are
i) well-concealed cash: preferably sterling, but Euros/US $ also acceptable, though in that case (i.e. overseas orders) scroll down to bottom of this page to see advice/pricing regarding overseas orders.
ii) cheques/postal orders in Sterling only.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We do value those who buy NFB from overseas: sadly the UK government does not. In April 2012 the UK Con-Dem government effectively abolished printed paper overseas rate, resulting in massive postal price increases, even within the EU. All cheques should be UK Sterling international money orders payable to Larry O’Hara only. We will take cash (US$ & the Euro) at sender’s risk, well-concealed obviously. To be fair, we have always received such cash as far as we know. Round up totals to fit the currency denomination. For any variations/items not specified, as with UK customers contact nfbmagazine@yahoo.co.uk and we will help. We do have PDF sales, but they are not the same thing as riding the Metro to Queen’s reading your mint-fresh copy and being approached by another subscriber (it did happen!). One of the first acts of an NFB-influenced post-revolutionary regime will be to reintroduce printed paper rates. You better believe it…
